These boys sure are pretty. I think they are around 21 weeks old. One girl is still smaller than others.

22 weeks and the boys have been separated from the girls. They are still in the pen but each in their own crates. Cockerels hormones have started. Pictures to follow, probably this weekend as we have long days Tue-Thur for a while now.

oh my goodness I love buff brahmas! got three of them myself and I adore them.they also come up to check me out and even follow me when I refill their water and food

I love their bloomers! It's not all and the big and littles are now blending. Although we have a super tiny one from the local breeder eggs we hatched Aug 1.

Only two roos left, little one for the taking! Their names are Broken Tail and Small One lol we name to be able to distinguish which one we talking about haha

I wish I could get a roo! I love watching my Brahmas run from behind 😍🥹😆

This is a buff Brahma roster mixed with Easter eggers, from different colored Easter eggers also. Out of 20 or so Easter egger eggs they all turned out primarily dark with light face. I was hoping for a mix of color lol but I didn't get that. Every chick had leg feathers and a little over half had beards. The buff Brahma has some really strong genetics

I just hatched some buff roo x Easter egger and Olive Eggers and yes, the buff Brahma genes are really strong BUT maybe when they fully feather out they'll be more mixed! That's my hope lol

I also have a thread I started on our Buff Brahma x Egger project. And plan on keeping track of colors too - in case we keep hens lol

The set of twos (each set came from same olive eggs if that makes sense) so slightly different.
