I have a 4 week old buff orphington that I was told was a pullet. Her comb is getting pinker by the day. I really hope she’s not a roo, she’s my most friendly chick! Can anyone tell?

I can’t keep a roo in my neighborhoodIt's a boy, if you can keep it, stop treating it like a pet, pretty much ignore it or it will likely get mean.
A lot of people have that experience, yes. Raise them as pets and they see you as an equal to put into place. Raise them to move away from you and respect you, they seem to be less aggressive.Roosters turn mean if you treat them like a pet/too friendly?
That comb is big for 4 weeks. It is most likely a boy. The boys tend to be the friendliest. Sorry.I have a 4 week old buff orphington that I was told was a pullet. Her comb is getting pinker by the day. I really hope she’s not a roo, she’s my most friendly chick! Can anyone tell?
Ah. That makes sense. I don't have any roosters but would have thought the opposite and would most likely have regretted it.A lot of people have that experience, yes. That has been my experience as well.
95% of the time yes. Though, there will be always be some roosters that stay nice and some that are devil spawn no matter what.Roosters turn mean if you treat them like a pet/too friendly?
