Those short no legged things are weird to me! And even hatchery Orps can be very round and poofy when they puff up! They just flatten their feathers in the summer to stay cool but they can be VERY fluffy

I don't get the fascination with Lavender.
Having said that, there aren't tons of colours/patterns that I really love.

I do love silver duckwing, though. Crele and silver laced are pretty cool too.

Both of my Buff Orpingtons were free from a friend (they couldn't care for their flock so they gave them to me) and although they give amazing hugs - they lay way fewer eggs than my Australian Orpingtons, and they have never gone broody even once in over three years.
Also, I do have to agree they are not very fluffy. I would love to get my hands on a few cochins, or expand my English Orp variety, but I won't be getting buffs again.
