I hate hatchery Orpingtons. Which are like it’s own breed. They are mainly What this thread is about. They are like these:

The only complaint I have with English buff Orpingtons is the fact that they are buff, no I don’t have a problem with the breed itself.

SOO bascially merle poodles are actually mutts. It was bred in awhile back using australian shepherds. Merle causes ALOT of health issues, and because most merle breeds now have been merle for so long, its been bred out, but for poodles, that is not the case .

I don't know, there was that news story not that long ago about an adult who got spurred in a major vein of the leg by an aggressive roosters and bled to death.

What a unique way to go. It's a Lupe Velez kinda story.

I don’t know if it’s the same with dogs, but with chickens, sometimes breeds need to be added to a breeding line to improve traits of a breed, like Barred plymouth rocks getting added to improve the barring, and things like that. The first few crosses are mixes- yes. But after many generations they become pure. It’s the same with creating new colors within a breed. Most breeds are mixed at some point.
