Buff Orpington Rant thread!

Huh, I had heard that Buff Orpingtons or just Orpingtons in general went broody alot. My Buff Orpington went broody and was a good mama but I guess it can really vary.

My AM was definitely one of the best broodies I’ve ever owned. I wouldn’t trust any of the Orpingtons I’ve had because they were all extremely dumb.

My Speckled Sussex was quite dumb too. I had to save her babies so much then eventually my Australorp just took over lol

I wouldn't have cared if she did have though. Im not picky about leakage unless it's in purebreds.

What do you mean by dumb? Like they couldn't raise a baby or they just weren't bright over all.

How old are they now? I can’t be expected to remember as they are no longer really my children.
