The ones I have are non-bearded as well. One was from a show line and was a cull for being clean-faced, though, so he has imparted larger crests on some of his children, which is not my preference.

His Silkie x silkied Cochin grandchildren are perfect, though.

Beards without crests are quite adorable. Beards with large crests, faceless and unappealing to me. The ideal of both worlds is the Brabanter; cute beard plus punk-rock Spitzhauben crest.

They’re amazing! You’ll love them lol so full of personality and great layers! Their eggs were delicious. And their shells were crazy hard haha

Yeah. I'll have to see if My red coop numbers stay the same over winter or if some of my older girls don't make it. My coop is starting to get a bit full unfortunately. How big are they compared to standards?
