Well, the 7 BO pullets turned out to be 4 pullets with 3 cockerels. So now I have to hopefully find a nice home for 2 of the cockerels. It's a shame because they all have such sweet temperments, even the boys. I know the only way I can keep all 3 fellas is by adding ladies. I don't want to dip into my other chicken space though.
 
i have a BO named ruby... we call her ru ru she likes to mother our bantams! its so cute to see my biggest chicken and my smallest ones roosting together!

thanks to my friend butternutsquash ruby will not be my biggest chicken! i am getting a jersey giant some time soon(the chickies hatched a couple weeks ago!)

Maybe you guys can help me out with this... I got six BO chicks three and a half weeks ago and five look like the second picture and one looks like the first picture. They are the same age. Any ideas on why the feathering is so different. They were straight run.
