Buff Orpingtons

Need help please, I'm new to raiseing chickins. I have 28 Buff Orpingtons that are 5 1/2 weeks old, and I've noticed a knot on there right breast. There eating and drinking fine, and active. Is this normal? or is this some type of disease?

LOL...sorry..don't mean to laugh at ya. That would be their crop you are feeling. It's where the food goes when they eat.

It is their crop and perfectly normal. It should go down quite a bit by morning and fill back up as the day goes on and they eat.
