Bumblefoot help please

Hi there!

Just as @Miss Lydia has stated, it looks as if you have one duck that is rather progressed with the Bumblefoot. if possible, this one might need to see a vet and get meds to help with infections. The other BF pictures are mild and will heal with soaks and wrapping.

I soak at night for about 10 minutes on each duck, new fresh water each time. I have a larger tote for each duck. if they poop while soaking they get put into another clean tote.
I dry their webs and make a booties for each duck that needs to be wrapped. It helps to have these prepped before the soaks start, it will save you on time when the soaks are done. I use Manuka Honey per my vet recommendations. I ordered it on-line - https://manukahoneyusa.com/product/manuka-honey-umf16-8-8oz250g/ it is expensive though, $65 for 8 oz. But it will last you a while. There are alot of knock-offs manuka honey out there, i only use honey that has the UMF sticker on the product, here is the website for certified honey companies https://www.umf.org.nz/ I lock them up for the night and in the morning i remove the wrap. Let them free range, play and swim; If it's not a bad BF. If it is, then they get a quick soak in the morning and re-wrapped and locked up for the day, or like my current situation - she is living in my garage for a couple of weeks. No water, no dirt....vet wants her to stay still and clean. We had surgery on Thursday to remove her BF. I continue doing nightly soaks until the BF healed. I spent all summer last doing soaks, i would get one healed then bam another duck would get shortly after.

Here is what I use to wrap them.

I am trying to see if I have s video that shows me making the booties.

these two pictures look like like they are more of an issue then the other pictures.

Don't feel bad, these things happen very quickly. i do a check on my ducks feet once or twice a week and still have one just pop up on me.
