What’s the treatment? Is this a bad case? It’s on both feet. She’s not limping. I only just saw this.
Otherwise the hen is very healthy.

Probably not.
These feet do not look bad at all.

If you were to just soak and try and scrape the scab off tonight... It will not be gross at all.

Once you get the scab off and you dig to get the little tiny bit of gunk that's up in there out... That's where it could possibly get a little tiny gross or bloody.

I would only soak and then try and scrape the scab off.

I would not wrap.

First soak the leg in an Epsom salt bath. Try to clean it up.

Warm water with or without salt...enough to cover the bottom of the foot...that's it.

Soak her feet then.
Soak for as long as possible and see if it makes the scab softer...so you can pull it off.
It's not easy to pull it off.

I agree to do it tomorrow, it takes a while. You dont want the leg to get infected more. Tomorrow, prepare sterile tweezers.
