Thanks! I'll get pictures of her foot when I change the bandage tonight & we'll see what it looks like.@BantyChooks , wow, great job!
WOW. I didn't know a duck foot would swell up like that. Our Pekins started limping from sores on their feet when the swimming water was not adequate enough. The feet healed up when I made sure they had enough water in their pools (I think that was it). I'm happy to see a Silver Appleyard. I couldn't get any miniature Appleyards so I just ordered a pair of Bluehead Australian Spotted. The Pekins are too large for us and the drake too aggressive. I guess he thinks he is a goose. As you can see it's quite swollen and warm.

Their feet definitely stay in better condition when they've got swimming water, but unfortunately that's not going to happen this time of year. The thermometer agrees with me, lol. I'm glad your littles were okay!WOW. I didn't know a duck foot would swell up like that. Our Pekins started limping from sores on their feet when the swimming water was not adequate enough. Idk.... but keep them soaks going. There may be a possibility but it would surface on it own from the soakDo you all think there is much chance I will have to open up the foot again?
Would what surface? Any pus?Idk.... but keep them soaks going. There may be a possibility but it would surface on it own from the soakwhich would be easier to remove....
