Her foot looks okay today. I do think I did get out all of the pus. It's quite warm still—here's hoping the antibiotics will clear that up.

I am out of Epsom salts or I would have done a soak.

I don't think I left any but I worry about more building up.

If there is any residual pus, the combination of Epsom Salt soaks & clear iodine should draw it to the surface for you... eliminating the need for you to do any more exploratory surgery. For which Hailey will greatly thank you... and lessen your need for man pants! Exhibit A...

Brownie's foot after the third soak. Notice there is a full scab, no plug & after the soak the scab pulled away nicely revealing healthy new tissue underneath!
