Bumblefoot?

Pics

in this video at minute 7:45 you can see the woman actually pull it out ( i have no sound so cant tell you if she is giving good advice and she isnt wearing gloves-which is stupid

very much so

what are you using for bedding? is it dirt, woodchips, ...???

Okay so its bumblefoot, great, whats that lump on the top of her foot?

Our new coop is still under construction so they are currently in a pen out in the run, it has no floor so its just dirt. I think everyone is getting bumblefoot because where i live the ground it mostly rock, so i think they keep cutting their feet on the rocks

Oh thats just great, so i just get the scab off and get everything out at the bottom of the foot, i dont have to do anything to the top lump right?

I know you have a lot on your plate right now, but once you remove the rock try using leveling sand (like what you use for paver brick patois) I use it for my ducks and it works great -it's almost like kitty litter when scooping up poop and it's great for their feet. Good luck and I wish you the best, we are here you for any questions!!!
