Bump on duck's foot

It's def not easy to wrap their feet. I wrap mine in a towel like a burrito and work on them that way they have to lay perfectly still. Have you thought of ordering some shoes. Many places online sell them.

I've only found one UK seller online, and all the reviews say theyre super small and don't fit larger breeds
The rest I found are all US ads, and the delivery time would be ridiculous- I'm wondering at this point if I should try and make my own

Oh, you are in the UK? I was going to offer to mail you mine. My pekin wore them, but she has passed on and I only have two smaller breeds now. But it would probably take too long to arrive.

Someone posted a pattern on BYC once. Making them out of neoprene, or sacrificing a "beer cozy" like Miss Lydia suggested is probably your best option.

okay! Not much of an update to give here yet. But, we've gotten into a routine with it- she is calmer with her foot being touched and messed with now- and I've found a good couple of ways to hold her while I work on it. I have to say she quite enjoys the foot spa every day, she nestles her head into my hands and has gentle face strokes until she falls asleep- all while her feet are soaking in epsom salts.
Then I spray her feet with vetericyn, let it dry, and apply drawing salve and I have made a little slipper/sock thing for her. It isn't the best, but it stays on, keeps her foot clean, and keeps the gauze with the drawing salve and all on.
I'm going to buy better material and make better boots, one for each foot, which I can keep and use again in the future.

I got some better photos of both duck's feet, just want opinions. So, the black marks seem to be scabs, are they? If so, do I need to worry about all becoming bumbles? Or could it be something else? I took these photos after soaking their feet, theyre clean.
Sorry for the weird layout of the images, my phone is out of storage space and wont let me photo, so I decieved it by screenshotting the camera lol.
Dougie's feet are the first two images, Spright's are the second two

Those feet look good. Those places could start bumble but with you on top of it I don't think it will get to the bumble stage. Just keep up with what your doing.

ok good! I forgot to mention, The bump on Spry's foot, the scab is tiny today, and the bump is... not smaller but... flatter? that could be a good sign? Healing?
