Bump on duck's foot

okay I'm back! And I'm certain this has finally turned into an actual bumble. I noticed Sprightly limping a bit today, and checked her feet-the area I was concerned about all this time ago, has become a proper (pretty small) bump with a scab on it.
I have soaked her feet in epsom salts and applied a little drawing salve to the area- so my question is: now what?
Is it severe enough that I need to remove the scab and empty the infection, or should I do daily soaks and dressings until it's looking better?
I will try and get a photo

Okay photo! I apologise I know it looks super unclear. The scab looks red on the photo but in reality its closer to black than red and isnt bleeding or anything. As I have said, so far just gave an epsom soak and a little drawing salve
-edit- forgot to add the photo-I need a coffee.

A photo would def be good. Depending on how it looks will depend on how to proceed. I usually soak and keep soaking until the scab loosens with my fingernail and I can gently pull it off. Usually the infection is underneath and can be pulled out with tweezers. Then I pack with antibiotic salve and wrap for a few days then take of wrap and make sure all infection is still out sometimes there is still some left, put on antibiotic salve and rewrap. Usually after a few more wraps to make sure the infection is completely gone I keep wrapped until new skin is over the opening. I am working on a chicken hen with a bumble right now. Hers opened on its own. Doesn't happen often like that not here anyway. So I am using an antibiotic plus using antibiotic ointment and wrapping. Some have used drawing salve with good results for it work good I'd say the bumble has to be pretty small or just starting.

ok, Ive attached a photo to the above post-
What specific product do you suggest for a worse bumble? I only have vetericyn and drawing salve at the moment-
Also do you have any tips on wrapping the foot? I have vet wrap but not sure how to do it in a way that wont come off two seconds later!
I did have a good hunt for boots but to no avail.
Also, should I prevent her from accessing the pool while in treatment? I feel bad because i only just finished their proper pond and she loves it!

It's hard to see the bumble so hopefully that means it's small.
My internet has been down most of the afternoon so sorry I wasn't able to reply till now.

Soak, spray with veterycin let it dry them use the drawing salve and wrap. I'd keep her from getting her foot wet until your going to soak again then you could let her swim you just don't want to wash off what you put on it.

When I had a few hens with bumble and had to open them I just use antibiotic ointment on their bumble then wrapped.

hnm.... Okay. I got her feet soaked again this morning, applied vetericyn, let it dry and then when applying the drawing salve/trying to wrap her feet- it was just impossible! Though it did look less angry today, not quite as full as yesterday or as red?
Trying to do all of it with one hand while trying to hold her and keep her still- just felt impossible.
We did take a break, had a cuddle and let her calm down (she was convinced the vet wrap was trying to eat her foot), before trying again, but it just wasnt working. She had a nice relax after, put her head into my hands and had strokes until she fell asleep.
Ive blocked off the pond, the ground theyre on is nice and soft- so I dont know.
Any tips on this? I don't know how to wrap it properly without it coming undone mid wrap. It would be sooo much easier with duck boots, but there just arent any available here.
I feel bad because I think its my fault it turned into a bumble, the soil was very compacted and hard in their old pen. The new pen I actually decided to dig it all up (pretty exhausting lol) and put fresh new, soft soil over it, so I'm not worried about it happening again.

It's def not easy to wrap their feet. I wrap my birds in a towel like a burrito and work on them that way they have to lay perfectly still. Have you thought of ordering some shoes. Many places online sell them.
