After seeing your photos I am so hoping every single one of those 45 little babies in my bator hatches out!

Don't worry, Miss P... I think there will be MORE than enough eggs to satisfy all of our hatching needs...

4 quail (the picture shows them without a backbone, sort of butterflied, with 3 skewers holding the quail in a spread-out fashion.)

With a chicken I cut first along one side of the backbone then the other and if you want it to lay flat you can cut out the keel (breastbone). Never tried it with quail though.​
