In this picture from upper top left there is a Normal, then Ivory, Golden Pearl, dark one Blue Face, another Ivory, another Golden Pearl, Silver and Ivory in bottom right corner. Those are the main colors you have. Once they get more mature I can help you with sexing and variations. Good luck with them!!
Yes, the reason they are called Blue Face is that the males are blue from their foreheads all the way down their fronts. The males in this variety will have reddish feathers too. Lots of people think the Blue Face male is a hen as they have no bib. My first "hen" was a Blue Face male before I knew any better, LOL! The hens are very pretty in this variety and will stay the nice chocolate color they are now. Blue Face is a dominant mutation.
Aha! Now you bring up the dominant/recessive stuff! I had forgotten about that! So, since my one and only blueface is a df male, does that mean that all his chicks will be blueface?
