Coffee and tea are ready to go for the morning!
We got about 1.5 inches of rain over the course of the afternoon and evening. This morning, it is 46 F out there.

Whew, short but intense.
No tree on house, power still on, internet a bit glitchy.
Lots of water in garage, lots of water went all thru the run leaving a soaked under run and scads of sand strewn in interesting patterns.
Even had some splatters of rain come in the upper windows slight wetting the top of feed can, probably when the one heavy wind gust went thru. Tornado watch/warning to the southeast.

Chickens went off with alarm calls, with a tone that had me going down to see. The noise coming from inside the coop and a line of a half dozen birds in run gazing quietly off to the east. I eased into run and saw a coyote nibbling on some grass 50' away. Not sure if it was faking it while sizing things up or what, but I told it loudly to get the hell out of my yard and he shot off into the woods.

What a morning!

Good morning Cafè. I brewed a fresh pot of coffee.
Rough night and morning with severe ankle pain. Not sure if it's the healing nerve or the big lipoma I've had there for years. No matter which, it HURTS.

We have a marine layer that comes in keeps us in the low 70's.
