The surgery could not take all away there still are odd spots that kick our butts.

Walking around WM for 30 minutes would be a cake walk before I was injured.

So I think this is an interesting observation... when I got home from that excursion in a fair amount of pain, I passed out after the Percocet took effect and slept for 3 hours. I never did log into work yesterday. I managed to actually fall asleep at my 'normal' bed-time last night. And for the first time since the pain came back, I was not awakened in the middle of the night with excruciating hip/leg/ankle pain. Just a low-level ache that I'd expect from muscles being put back into action.

I had the best night sleep yet and I've already logged into work to start my day. Well, tried to. Something is wrong with the server and I haven't connected to access the files I need but I've sent a note to the IT guy I work with so I'm waiting to hear back.

Glad that you got some wonderful rest.
Anyway, I now have a line on free apples so I will pick them up from the lady and make some applesauce. They are already gathered and my guess is that she is not into bears.
My chickens will be happy with the bounty!

She's all done with us. Now river watch. It's expected to reach moderate flood stage tomorrow morning. We just have lots of run off down the hill up here. My pond overfloweth.

I had left the flock locked up because it was supposed to rain longer than it did. I just let them out.

I was right back on-line quickly. I had to reboot then everything connected just fine.

The sleep was great. I still haven't taken another dose of pain meds. Just the one this morning and I still feel okay.

I'm not going that far. The surgery absolutely did what it should, but the nerve was compressed for a very long time and I expect it to take quite a while to fully heal.
