I wish that I could set up a gym for days that are too rough to work.
Single digits out there.

Yesterday, was a MORF run. I was glad that he felt good enough to come along and go out for breakfast. He will start radiation on his brain tumor sometime soon.

I need to clear my path of drift snow and keep an eye out for the bobcat(s) hanging around. We chased one off yesterday afternoon that was scoping out the chicken coop. My friend on the next ridge sent a pic of two hanging out together... there will be more! LOL!

Aart, ladder fuel is mountain folk code for a Charlie Brown Christmas Tree that needs to be removed for fire mit. LOL!

Happy new Julian Calendar day!

I'm reading a book* about the number zero. Back when calendars were set up, there was no number zero. Which doesn't seem like a problem to us, but remember the big discussion about whether the millennium started in the year 2000 (nice neat number) or 2001? All because of zero.

Zero was also a concept: void, nothing. It scared a lot of people.

*Because I'm reading it on my kindle, I don't know the title or author off the top of my head. That is my complaint about kindles. Read a print book and the title and author are there every time you pick it up.

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee! It is snowing here as well, 20F something outside. I was going to shovel the path yesterday, but then the breezes picked up and so all of that got postponed probably until tomorrow, because they are still playing.
I guess I am stuck making scones...
