BYC Café

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee!
Get over it , DL, cause no one is going to question your building skills!
Just say it is in progress but here is the jist.... LOL!

Bowling was FUN! We went to the local pizza joint after because they have better food with no seed oil options. Win, win!

MORF is in the hospital, and doing better today. My friend that checked on him yesterday called 911. They got stuck in the ranch driveway cause "they never plow" and that is supposed to be a badge of honor. I tell ya what! So now I am kind of in limbo for the radiation treatment tomorrow and not sure. He will have to walk the driveway if no one has come to their senses and if he gets released.
His blood sugar was 458! I didn't even know that was possible!
All in the learning, I guess.
Enjoy the day, Cafe! It is warming up out there and I think we are supposed to get above freezing!

Well that would explain why he was feeling dizzy (am I remembering that right?). Does the hospital know he is due radiation tomorrow? He may still be in hospital with that level of blood sugar.

How long has he been diabetic? Does he test regularly?
He may still be in hospital with that level of blood sugar.
The hospital staff will get that down with insulin. But maintaining it is the bigger issue. And it's going to complicate his cancer treatment if he can't get that under control.

Wishing MORF the best Margie! You are a hell of a good friend.

Sheesh! Alright already.

Bedding is on the floor because I stripped the sheets! Yes, I know that that light fixture needs to be cleaned...

Good Morning All,
Having tea this morning, too much coffee.
It is now a question of what to eat for breakfast, I do like hot breakfast as I get older, and older...and older.😄
A piece of toast, or oat with milk will not be acceptable now, it used to be, but not anymore for awhile now. I want real scramble eggs with some sort of soup accompany it.
A full table of hot breakfast and I have to cook it if I want to eat it, that is the hard part. 😄😄

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

Boy, I am really liking this heat distribution system. There is now a much smaller difference in the temperature of the hearth room and the master suite which is the furthest point from the hearth room. I wish I had thought of this when I designed the house remodel when we first saw it.

Good afternoon, and thanks for the coffee :caf

Come to have breakfast with us @SkyAJK
Warm oatmeal cooked with real cows milk is my usual breakfast in winter, on sundays DH wants pancakes. Sometimes scrambled eggs or omelette with homemade wild boar ham are fine, but overall we eat less and less of the former breakfast staples like bred or rolls with jam.

Well, after checking the travelling distance I suppose everything will be cold or only crumbs left by the time you arrive :plbb
