Bedding is on the floor because I stripped the sheets! Yes, I know that that light fixture needs to be cleaned...

That is a good solution. I had a similar issue but the space above the door was full of wiring. My solve was a row of 1” holes cut in the top of the door. Just like ventilation in a chicken coop.
They look like an intentional ‘design element’. Yours has more open ventilation so will work better than mine. But mine works well enough.

Thank you all.... I feel a bit off not having to worry about MORF but I am very glad that he is willing to get some training on what to eat and such. I hope that it sticks!
DH and I started clearing off the drift from the deck, heavy igloo blocks where he was walking up and over it to get to the chickens.
Slow and steady made a dent with lots of sunbathing breaks because the weather was perfect (35F) for such a thing. We are going food shopping today, 2 footed+2 winged+4 footed.
I got the cat an auto feeder and now that I have figured out the programming of it, I like it. ( FYI... the 50 means that it will spit out 50 portions at one time! LOL!) I feel better about taking off for a day or two to watch DS$ wrestle now. The cat did not space out his eating like a proper kitty, just went into back alley starving mode!

Come to have breakfast with us @SkyAJK
Warm oatmeal cooked with real cows milk is my usual breakfast in winter, on sundays DH wants pancakes. Sometimes scrambled eggs or omelette with homemade wild boar ham are fine, but overall we eat less and less of the former breakfast staples like bred or rolls with jam.

Well, after checking the travelling distance I suppose everything will be cold or only crumbs left by the time you arrive

Good Morning All,
Making my 2nd coffee now......my limit is now 2 cups a day only.
The sky is looking clear and perfectly blue, so beautiful!
We are near the end of January already, I bet the shopping center is covered in Valentine decorations, then before we blink our eyes come along Easter and then I realised almost half a year has gone by.
Let eat pancake for now..
