Good Morning All,
I am having my 2nd cup of coffee now, I run out of fresh milk so have to endure powder milk which I don't think it tastes as good, it keeps some at the bottom of my cup.

I am loving these posts of frustration with the weather. I am too so frustrated with the weather as soon I hear the sound of rain...oh NO, not again!

We're going to get a warm up, and the snow still on our road will probably pack down into ice. Some of it doesn't get enough sun this time of year to melt, and the ground is still plenty frozen.

I may go out with the ash bucket tomorrow and see how far I can get.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

HTG and I had fun yesterday and I now have a long gun for when I need to euthanize a bird. I still have yet to actually take a life myself. I've only ever made the decision it was the kindest thing to do. I have no idea if I'll be able to do the deed when the time comes. I hope so.

The turkeys are definitely acclimating to me.

I'm a little embarrassed to admit that for the first time in my life, I saw a wild tom strutting. Two actually. They are such cools beans to watch!

Spring is coming for sure.
We have to see about the breezes for this snowshoeing adventure. They have reappeared and are supposed to be 50-60mph cranking up to 70ish overnight. We are also starting to dog-sit tonight for a week while the GKs go to visit the other set of GPs. That poor little dog weighs 5 lbs and my cat rules with an iron claw. It is always interesting being a walking snack inside and outside of the house!

I'm going to watch a video on how to clean it. I bought a cleaning kit. I know Dave had one. It's in the basement. Figured I'd get a new one and clean the gun. It is obviously used but built better than the newer ones with similar features and will certainly fulfill my need.

HTG and I will do target practice some other day. After I warn my neighbors what I'm doing.
