BYC Café

I'm eager to see how the early spring bulbs I planted for the bees do this year.

Winter Aconite, March 2nd last year. It should be coming up and blooming any time now. The snow is (finally!) gone from the garden.

Well we are dog sitting. Daughter and SIL are attending the state wrestling tournament. Our grandson is assistant coach for one of the teams competing there. Jeter the black lab has been here many times. She is one of the nicest most sensible dogs that I have ever known - as long as you realize that she is food driven and take precautions. The other is Tootsie an 8 month old pug that is quite full of herself. Hopefully she will make the Princess realize that we don't need a dog. :fl

Or convince her must be a pug.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

I am a little shocked that my insurance finally approved the trigger point injection for me. I go in next Thursday. I had one once before. Just a last minute "let's do this" to help get me functioning better before I went to the beach house. Don't know what exactly was injected into the piriformis but this time the doctor (different than the first) is doing an ultrasound guided injection. Fingers crossed it will help.
The good news is I've been off all pain meds for about 3 weeks now. My blood work was showing mild signs of kidney damage from them so that's enough of that. The kidneys will recover. I have to have repeat blood work some time this month.
Off to feed the chickens...
Have a great day Cafe!
