We may have hit 55 here still dry.

Good morning, Cafe'. I got here first? That's okay. I know how to brew the coffee. It's ready - have a great day - almost spring-like here.

I brought some too! We have a week of spring-like temperatures on the way.

As long as the nights stay cold enough to keep the plants from getting ahead of where they should be... I'll be happy.

Good morning Cafe. Thanks for the coffee.

My family went (back) to the well established Japanese restaurant for hibachi for my nephew-in-laws b-day last night. The cook was very engaging and knew all about the games that the boys all play together. He was actually tatted up with characters from these games! They had a raging good time talking with him while the rest of the gathering enjoyed watching them enjoy their conversation so much.

I have chicken maintenance that needs to be done when we get our warm weather.

I think my main smoke detector needs to be replaced. It went off again for no particular reason at 5:35, nope, 6:35 this morning and I couldn't get it to shut up. So I unplugged it and opened the battery back up compartment and tossed it out on the deck. I'll see if I can open it up the body and clean it. If not, I'll buy a replacement.

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee! Sunshine and supposed to be near 50F. That ought to start some of the snow melting.

I took a little over an hour road trip out west to pick up some more Olympic weights for my bench. I decided to stop somewhere along the route home to find a different place to run the dogs. We ended up at Sandy Creek Nature Reserve outside of corning. We had a great hike!

Tomorrow I think I'll be able to get some time in the garden and play whack-a-weed. I may not be able to pull them up, but I can knock their heads off!

I walk around with the hoe (trowel, when it's warm), point it at the offender and say, "Feel lucky today, Punk? Well, do ya?"
