I brought another pot to share, so help yourselves to it.
Although I actually had planned otherwise, I just gave in to one of my countless broodies and presented her with 10 fresh Amrock eggs. She was delighted and while softly talking to them, rolled them under her belly and made herself comfortable looking very satisfied.
It was her fourth time being broody this year, so I finally gave in and am curious to see how she will manage.

Owning an incubator is very handy if you plan to start a serious breeding program.
You can hatch simultaneously and after marking the chicks according to their respective blood lines, give them all to the broody to raise. This way you can order hatching eggs from various breeders without risking the chicks suffering serious damage during transport.
