Our second (of two) wonderful days here. Cooler, lower humidity. Less wildfire smoke than yesterday, though it isn't gone. It's going to warm up, but no 90s in sight.

Hubby's back is bothering him a lot today. He will not go to the chiropractor. He thinks that the adjustments can cause harm "down the road." He will not change his mind, no matter what I say, or even witnessing my improvement/ongoing well being from my treatment.

We had a GREAT vet, but he retired. I would have questioned him about these issues, and gotten a frank discussion. I wouldn't expect that with our current vet, really, but I might be making an assumption. I don't know how to find one who might entertain not getting yearly boosters.

Maybe walk around vet offices and count the posters that are from drug companies?
I would check in the guidelines. My vet has gone from annual to every 3-4 years for many shots based on revised veterinary guidelines.

Do you have a link, or somewhere to start looking? With all the AI on every.single.search! I do, I'm not sure where to look.
I’m sorry, I don’t because my vet spontaneously told me the guidelines had changed.
I guess I would start with AI and then dig into the sources.
I agree it looks a bit daunting - though a quick skim did teach me that for rabies vaccination the frequency is determined by local regulations not veterinary guidelines. Some places require it to be every year. Others say every three years.
My head hurts!

Men are maddeningly stubborn that way.

What's funny about this is that the 3-year rabies vaccine is absolutely 100% identical to the 1-year rabies vaccine. The label is just different.
