Good (humpday) morning coffee goers!

Good morning Bert and Scott. It's a bit brisk here too, but the sun is shining so I think it'll warm up pretty fast.

I brought the muffins: Lemon Blueberry with a Thyme glaze and Machata ( green tea) Almond with a Poppyseed crumble.

Work today...other than that, pretty quiet in my part of the world!

I call the Lemon Blueberry, I call the Lemon Blueberry! Have a nice day MissWiggles.

My GrandPa always told us younguns that it was OK to make pets out of his cows, any and all of them.
He said that a pet is way easier to deal with then some maybe half-broke Heifer when her water breaks or some such medical problem come up.
Also the beefers would eat better if they where not scared half to death before butchering.
My 2 cents worth.

I've heard before that all meat tastes better (I can't remember exactly, but I believe the meat is "redder" :/ ) when the animal is less stressed. I also think that when you give an animal a name and make it a pet, you take better care of it even if it is going to the butcher.

The front that kicked Colin outta here has brought us unseasonably cooler, drier air. Great weather for doin' stuff outside . . . . if I can find the energy (*yawn*)

Good morning everyone, I slept awful. DH wants to go to an estate sale today, it sounds fun, but I am soo tired.

Thank you, but it is a very low chance. It is all good i have become use to running around sleep deprived.

Sounds fun. Are you selling the wool or do you plan to use it?

We are planning on going through the process of using the wool. I have seen raw wool go for 10 bucks, hardly worth selling. The winters are long up here, might as well make some socks.....

I am surprised it isn't worth more. I always thought learning to spin yarn would be kind of fun
