BYC Café

Good morning, all - thanks for the coffee, Scott.

Good morning from central NY! Sipping my coffee before I go work on my pallet coop. So I subscribe to a grocery delivery service, and have been saving all the natural insulation that they package my groceries in. It comes in huge sheets, and I am going to insulate my coop with this! Great way to reuse! It's an inch thick. I think I may do a double layer.

Welcome to the cafe! Morning Crew of Brew Buddies!
It rained here yesterday and the ground is still wet. Very nice. DS$ is coming home from camp, just in time for ice cream cake with no rum. High of 68 today so I might have to put on a sweatshirt to eat the cake this evening......

Old motors that are in good shape are better then alot of the new stuff, just my opinion, new enough for solid-state or pointless ignition and old enough that no computer chips are mucking up the works.

Very true! Our neighbor gave my husband a boat. Tht boat was junk, motor was good. So hubby found another boat to put that motor on. But that motor was short shaft, and the 2nd boat needed long shaft, so he found yet another boat with a long shaft and more HP. After gutting and redoing the 2nd boat and putting the 3rd boat's motor on it, we might have one good one!

Good Morning and Welcomb to BYC's best little Café this side of the International Date Line.
It sounds like you are in the Middle of a interesting project, a few pic's are always nice.
Have a good coop building weekend!
Scott

Edit to add Happy Birthday to DS$

Good morning. Feeling a bit under the weather today, not sure if it's the humidity or something else, but I think I'll just lay low today. We got dumped on with rain yesterday, which was much needed. Of course now the grass will grow, so I guess everything comes with a price!

Ice cream always tastes best in August...so does corn on the cob, barbecued anything and fruit pies. I love this time of the year! Even with the heat, cause it beats the alternative.
