BYC Café

Thanks for the coffee Scott. Time for me to pack up and head South towards home.

I'm going to stop by the paint store here and pick up samples before we go. Trying to decide on a neutral off white color is driving me nuts!

Good Morning Susan, Are you saying that we should all come and visit you?
Thanks for the offer, but I don't want to leave all my critters here in this heat without somebody to watch over them.
Scott

That WOULD be fun...a road trip to visit all of us going placecto place!
Hope your high heat drops to comfortable real soon! :)

We worked hard on the coop this weekend but not chicken ready quite yet. Really starting to shapecup however and shouldnt bectoo long now. Needs hardware cloth and doors installed, some brick walkways around it and chickens can move in!

Morning! Nice weather here too. Could make do with some more rain though. Thanks for the coffee.

Did you get a ride in, and who had the honors?

At least your driving/going home at the same time. Be safe!

Quote: This should be the last high 90's day this week. A road trip in the fall would be nice.

Hey everyone. .I'm Margie from Minneapolis. New to the cafe. .just wondering if Lauren was still there. .I'm babysitting my neighbors chickens and the austeorpington keeps jumping the fence onto a sidewalk and was wondering what I could do. .clip her flight feathers? I'm worried she is going to walk to the lake or get hit by a car

Hi, I live in Minnesota and am worried more about whats going to GET IN to that fence and eat chicken long before she meets a car. Hawks, coyotes, chickens hawks, racoons, skunks all would be over that fence in a blink if the chicken can get over. Hopefully there is an enclosure for her with full fencing otherwise she better keep her flight feathers to get away from all our great Mn chicken snackers!!! That makes for very hard chicken sitting. :(
