Tbh I think I'd rather deal with prairie fires than your hurricanes, because at least fire can be controlled somewhat, but hurricanes do whatever they want period.

Yeah, I've been watching the spaghetti models going crazy for the last few days. Right now, they all look pretty much like this one:

what's gonna stink, is if it gets in the gulf, and restrengthens to a hurricane, and hits the Texas coast.

That was my thought when I saw that projection - there's lots of warm water in the Gulf, and if it gets there, that blasted thing has to go somewhere. Just because it wouldn't be my headache anymore doesn't mean it goes away.
