BYC Café

Dang were 32 here on the north shore. Throw an extra blanket on Friday.

Good Wednesday Morning Friday, :frow
18° C isn't to bad, that's equal to 64.4° F. Right at my morning temperature.
Be careful and stay safe.

. LOL. 18F. We're high and dry, clear and cold. Had a tiny dusting of snow yesterday, but most was gone by afternoon. The mountains look gorgeous though.

Should be in the mid 40s this afternoon.

Happy Hump Day...pass the coffee! Off to work today, so there will be only limited baking tonight. It is damp out, not really raining, maybe misting off and on. And it's not really cold, but it's not warm either. It's just yucky, which means it's a good day to work!

Some cookies for our coffee this morning: Lemon Rounds, Dipped Shortbread, Rosemary Biscotti, Mocha-Ginger Biscotti, Lemon Poppyseed Squares, and Chocolate Orange Shortbreads.
Good Morning Wiggles,

I do believe that you have outdone yourself this time.
Where to start, that is the question.

Good morning, all.
Good Morning Sir Sour,

I hope that this fine Wednesday finds you still smiling.
Enjoy the day!

Morning All! It is cold here in the SW corner of the mountains and windy dry where we are. 13 degrees F! F for failing to keep warm, but we did have a spectacular Fall I have to admit. Oh well, more coffee and more thermies and more hay for the critters. Too bad those cookies aren't closer cause I think it is a good excuse for more calories too. Popsicle Kitty thinks it is cold and he wants his warm water to drink, NOW! Beastly cat.....

Just came in out of the rain. Having a bit of lunch and coffee # 2. Scott, about smiling my father always said, "Go through life with a smile on your face. That way the rest of the world is not certain where your mind is. With a frown they know where you are and that gives them an advantage." Once at work the head of the pathology department said to me, "George you are always smiling and so happy." I repeated my father's advice to her, and she replied, "Perhaps I need to smile more."

They say it is 18 outside right now, so I think I'll stay in bed. Thanks for the coffee, TK!

Sounds like a great plan!

Oh my!
Perhaps you could share your biscotti recipe? My mom and niece both love biscotti and I've been looking for a good recipe (or two) to be able to make them some for the holidays.......

I do believe that faced with such a plate of goodness the only option is to take a bite of each one, no?

Wise words from your father, Sour!
It's funny, you mentioned rain and I look out the window and see it is coming down pretty good here too -- wasn't a drop to be seen earlier when I took the dog to the park.

Good Morning WVC,

Hope that you have a good hatch, how many of what do you have cooking this time?
Have a good pipping Wednesday morning!
Scott

I have Seramas cooking! Plus one bantam cochin. I won a dozen eggs from My Pet Chicken Ghoulish Halloween contest (random drawing, I didn't do anything, except enter), and I decided to add a dozen of my own Serama's eggs. Then one of my serama pullets decided to go broody the same day the eggs arrived in the mail. So I shared with her.

I have 9 still in the incubator and she is sitting on 6. We are in the middle of day 19.
