Margie, you know how to make what we are in for seem not-so-bad after all.I just read this...
"Even before wind chill factors are considered, it was minus 30 in Fort Morgan, minus 35 in Greeley and minus 27 in Fort Collins. In Denver it was minus 5 degrees."
I will take my non-wind, now -8 , and be Happy!![]()
Good Friday Morning Friday,
Good Morning Sir Sour,![]()
WVC had a good idea with her 2 hour delay this morning, I wonder if 2 hours is enough?
Good Morning Margie,![]()
It looks like everybody wants a delay of somesort this morning.
Will your helper kitty help you out with the feeding or just watch you do all of the work?
All of us need to stay warm.

Good Morning to all. Got my coffee. Negative numbers this morning, school delays all around. I will be prepping food for the work party at my house tomorrow night. And I'm debating taking down the tree, it is shedding needles like crazy.
Margie, your helper cat is pretty cute. My cat will come outside with me, but she is pretty fussy about the snow. She meows the entire time she has to walk in it!![]()
Btw, anyone from Idaho or nearby? Thinking about going sometime this year or next and curious best time to go.
Good Morning. Brrrrrr!
Hey Scott, hope yall don't get hit too bad. We got about 4" I think. My body is on a 2-hour delay, at least.
BRRRRR!!!! Good planning on getting the woolies set up to hold tight a bit so you can wait for it to "warm up".Morning! It's -11 outside and I am just still here. I fed the sheepies well last night so they can sit tight until 0 makes an appearance. It is at least going to be very sunny today/
The bench looks great TK! Stay warm and dry peeps.

You're a good egg!"Helper Kitty", aka Jake, LOVES the snow but is deciding that the Cold can just go away. "Popsicle Kitty" has taken up residence under the porch and comes out for warm water and some food during these bouts of nasty. His owner is only home on the weekends or has some weird schedule so I do my part to keep him alive.
That's the best kind of snow - just enough to be pretty, last long enough to look at and then melt off!
What part are you planing to visit -- there is a big difference in the right time to go depending on where in the state you might be headed. I'm a spud by birth, lol, born and raised in the central mountain area but spent much of those first 19 years traveling from one end to the other of the state as my dad was one for "going for a drive" and enjoying the great outdoors.
LOL - I like the way you put that!

Wow, makes me feel like a grinch - I had our tree down by the end of the day on the 26th (and we didn't even go get it and put it up until the 20th)
You're a good egg!
Popsicle Kitty sounds like our "Nacho Cat" that we took care of back in Indiana -- technically belonged to a neighbor but spent most of his time at our place....made him a "sleeper box" for winter on the back porch and always made sure he had food and water. Still worry/wonder about him since we moved......
