Morning all - Coffee on and has been all night. We had the mother of all thunder storms last night. My house got a direct lightening strike, took out the electric fence, gate and motor, energizer, sensors, satellite dish and the radio link to the armed response company. Consequently have been up all night shotgun in hand.

I phoned the Insurance Co at 12.00 to ask if I was covered should I get a break in because all my defenses were down, they said no. So why do we pay insurance? The charges are astronomical but 'Acts of God' aren't covered. Uhh..
