Ice for the first 24 to 48 hours and then alternate ice with heatMaybe a heating pad, some ibuprofen and a stiff shot of an adult drink would help.

I am with you on the ice!@Treerooted
It's funny - I can remember getting all kinds of advice over the years as to what you put ice on, what you put heat on, and when. I have always kinda ignored advice about ice, because for me, putting ice on frequently hurt worse than the original injury. Maybe I'm not alone in that; the last time I had a kid with a nasty bruise or sprain or whatever, the advice was, "elevate, and apply heat and/or cold; whatever feels better."![]()
Being a tourist, I'm not really sure. I think everyone that could come back, did come back and are working on clean up. Lots of second homes here and you can tell who hasn't been back to start repairs.Good morning all.
Glad to hear that the cleanup is progressing Friday. I remember driving into New Orleans 2 years after Katrina hit. Still had the debris piled up everywhere. The only thing open was home depot, Lowe's and car dealerships. I was shocked at how slow the progress was. It sounds like Cudjoe is already on a great road to recovery in comparison.
Are most of the residents still there or have many left the area?
, it's really not too bad. But the pain has very distinctly moved from the side to the back, which is interesting. I think my heating pad may still be out in the shop from when I used it as part of a MHP brooder

Tea sounds nice. Hope the side/back feels better soon! Thanks for the concern folks, it's really not too bad. But the pain has very distinctly moved from the side to the back, which is interesting. I think my heating pad may still be out in the shop from when I used it as part of a MHP brooder

Just taking a sit-down while the little one naps for a bit. Tea and butter-tarts now in the cafe![]()
It is a kids game where a large square is either painted or chalked on blacktop. It is divided in four equal squares, labelled A, B,C, D. The person in square A serves the ball to any person. They have one bounce it hit the ball into another square. If you hit it out of the squares you are out. Any way, the object is to get to the A square.what is four square???
