BYC Café

I made Oatmeal and Sugar Cookies. I gave them a list of my "everyday" cookies and told them to let me know what they want.

Scott, here are some pictures...

Believe me, the dirt is not going anywhere, it's mostly sand. When the basement is framed and the decking is on they will back fill and grade away from the house so any runoff doesn't wind up in the basement. But we've not had any problems with the garage and that's been there for three years now. :)

@MissWiggles well it looks so cool to me - living up there in the hills/mountains - we are on a river and it just flooded - not good for chooks or people too wet - the air mst be so fresh - I'm so green wth envy. Moving shortly lol

my dogs are bigger, actually even my cats but he is so excited lol still have to build and plan. It is a lovely plot though, but no sewage/ water or elec, think the whole exercie is going to take lots bucks but we should get some for where we are now and with his payout we can do it..I hope... more chooks going to be fun... If it doesn't work out could always move to FLorida lol

I know all you guys have been chickennng for ages, but I have only been going since last Novmber and I just had to share the most precious thing I saw today. It was so cold and I gave the girls their worms at lunch all ther fluffy little butts were eagerly chomping away and mini molly was darting in and out trying to get some, and then I saw Henry pick one up and drop it for her, I thought it was a mistake but he did it again - now that was to me was a good father.

It never ceases to amaze me how wonderful these little creatures realy are - everyday I can't wake up early enough to see them give them breakfast and just watch their antics....I jusr love my chooks

We have 4 goats, the doe is pygmy so her mating with our Spanish-mix produced 1/2 pygmy kids. They are so nice and the kids are a riot, especially when they are young. You'd love them!

And sure...FL is always an option, lol!
