Try a 5 joule, they do kick *** and knock down horses and people at least one time. don't know if the horse was surprised and fell/tripped over it's own feet or was knocked down.
    Good luck with our bear.

The chicks are all looking good... 5 Buff Wyandotte, 4 Icelandic, 1 Basque, 10 Blue Cochin, 13 Rose Comb RIR = 33 total so I am ahead for the day.
9 Meaties and 1 hen lost. 1 Meatie injured but still kinda mobile. I will give her extra care tonight, but for today I am letting them be. They are freaked out! My main crew is calming down and laying eggs. They were not really messed with too much.
Well, I am getting on the fencing project for the day. Stupid bear.... my mantra...

Margie, those girls of yours are some kind of troopers! I figured they would be off laying for a couple days after a scare like that. Good girls.

It's all in what the hens are used to. My girls looked like ping-pong balls at the gold metal match the 1st time I drove my tractor right next to their run, now all they do is watch for dirt & such falling of off the tires.
    Good luck Margie!!

Margie wish you had a game cam aimed at the electric fencing- we want to see what happens when Bearzilla comes back.

All quiet.... either he snuck in and got zapped or he is somewhere else. DOW said they were having major bear issues all across the Front Range. [IMG]

Anyway, my neighbor may have Tulamaria, and today my throat is very sore. I tell you what! He finds out in three days or so if it is positive.... are you kidding me....., I have been working in his footsteps around this Ranch and I seriously hope no one has Tulamaria. New manta...., Stupid Rodents and Bears.
Coffee with lots of sore throat coating sugar. Bottoms up kiddies!
