No cookies here, but a neighbor brought over homemade candy. The peanut brittle is especially "to die for" amazing.
DS$ got a 2nd today by the hair (or not) on his chinny chin chin. 0-0 through all of the overtimes, basically a coin toss decided it. DS$ won the mental battle for sure because that kid who outweighed him by 10 pounds was very upset, even though he "won."

I have 11 Polish and 8 Speckled Sussex. Two roosters in each flock. And i hear they tend to drop dead a lot at 6 months with this disease. I sure wish i would have waited until Spring to get chicks from my preferred hatchery. I would not be sitting around waiting for these to die. I don't know if hubby would let me build another coop someplace far from that coop some time. He is already complaining about how much i spend on the chickens. Plus i am going to build a greenhouse.

Hello Cafe cookie makers! I am going to paint today if i can get myself going. Sure enjoying my new Sunbeam heating pad. One of those that doesn't shut off automatically. My knees and feet love it.

Harder to find those then you would think! Back when our first set of kids (goats) were born I had to find it and buy it for them. So they had a warm spot to snuggle the freezing March they were born. Nice things since the risk of fire is so low.

Hello cafe, i hope everyone had a good weekend. Actually went out to a little get together yesterday which was nice, but today I am sick with a cold.
Feeling pretty tired, so I'm off to bed, hard to look after a toddler when your sick so hopefully all is well in the morning.
Tried to catch up on the thread, but was only able to skim, realized my brain was mush.
Going to make a sleepy-time tea if anyone else needs.
