Nice!

I hate that some cars don't come with CD players now :/

Thankfully mine does even though it's new. We leased a new 2017 Subaru Outback back in like 2016 so one and a half years of the three year lease up already (wow time goes fast lol) and even though it was brand new it still has a CD player. Which I love because I still love listening to CDs. I do also use Sirius XM radio and bluetooth on my phone but I also love CDs and a lot of the smaller bands still make CDs. I also use the Spotify app on my phone since I don't have any actual music on the phone itself. The Spotify connects to bluetooth but yeah.

Sorry, I am probably being confusing haha

I could also plug an aux cord into the phone but for some reason I find that plays quieter???? Which is annoying.

But yeah.

okay admit lost about halfway after listening to CD's when bluetooth came out I was all for it my first cell phone was hardwired to the pickup this mp3 has me stumped the son had a DR. appt in chehalis this morning taught me how to download the music on the computer and then transfer if I am mostly blind the manual is so tiny he was reading it to me but do I remember :smack

Whoops sorry for losing you there and being confusing. Basically Sirius is a subscription satellite radio thing you pay for it and get a bunch of stations. It's clearer than regular radio I find and you get like hundreds of stations. Plus you don't lose it when you get too far away from the radio signal. Although I find it does sometimes it does cut out because of the trees or clouds or whatever. Also I think I have a more basic one because I don't think I get all the stations because a couple times I've seen my friends post that they are being played on a station or an interview or whatever and I check and it turns out that I don't get that station but it does have plenty and I use a lot.

Bluetooth is basically just a wireless signal and it connects to the car or whatever Bluetooth enable device you have. So for instance it can also connect to headphones, speakers, TVs, other phones, even DVD players sometimes haha it's what lets you play stuff through them. So if your car is not hardwired then Bluetooth should be what it plays your music through.

Spotify is just a music app. It is my favorite one and lets you look up practically whatever song or album you want for free. You can pay for a subscription, like I do, which I think removes the ads but it is free otherwise. And even with the subscription it's still a good deal cause there's like millions of songs lol so basically, unlike iTunes, you don't have to buy each individual one. If you know what Netflix is I suppose it's kind of like that for music but you can also make playlists and save albums and stuff. I use it all the time.

Hopefully that clarifies it a little?

And that's good he helped you!
