BYC Café

and building although I had a 8 ft table in the main coop barred rock are use to roost on it
barred rock all gone said I was thinking about cutting it down .. now BF went cut it down ... he doesn't listen to me think about doing it gotta go see it :idunno:clap

Luckily it was transitioning to rain pretty quickly, just took a couple hours after daybreak to melt most of the ice on the ground. The trickiest part was making my way to the coop this morning :D

Did you get out? I had a successful trip to the hardware and grocery stores :)

I did get out yesterday (finally, lol). The 60+ mph wind gusts blowing snow everywhere made for an uncomfortable ride but got to the store & back without problems. I can stay home today and not feel guilty about not running errands

Whoa, those winds can be a terror, glad you made your trip safely! We had Santa Anas in CA that blew like that. Knocked tractor/trailers over that were parked around the corner from our house. I don't miss the wind.

I wouldn't miss that kind of wind either but so far, I haven't found a way of getting rid of it

The trip into town can be made 2 ways, the highway or what everyone calls the back way. The highway is full of big semi-trucks (which are scary in the wind because they will blow over). The back way takes longer and is sort of deserted so if there's any trouble, no one will find you. In bad weather, it's always a big decision which way to go.:idunno
