BYC Café

Came in for another cuppa joe and found out that we have 75-80 mph winds coming in and a neighbor is getting a new roof as we speak (they better hurry!) and I really feel for those people that lost their house in the storms. That has to be disheartening.
While you are all napping, I will continue to brew coffee, oh and I forgot to add that tomorrow am early, I will be running DS@ to the wisdom tooth extractor doc. It is on my calendar now...

Best of luck to your neighbors with the new roof Margie. Winds that strong would definitely put a damper on roof work.

Mornin', y'all!:frow

26 brr-grees out there this morning. Our blueberry bushes are simply covered with blooms; we'll see what impact this frost has on the harvest.:fl

Rotten and disheartening about the house. I know this series of storms is wearying, but Spring is coming - it's inevitable.:old

I'll keep an eye out; any blurs that I see, I'll assume are you, Margie.

Thanks bunny and margie. It's sad for sure but thankfully I think it is not completely destroyed, the structure still stands, but everything is flooded. Basement too i forgot to add. Ceiling, cabinets, floors, etc. Plus of course rebuilding the chimney and roof. I think they are just going to redo it when the storms stop but for the price, they could probably just tear it down and build a new one. They live in a kinda slightly more rural/farm/suburb area and just moved to this beach place and they love it and now to have it trashed.

Mine usually have ice cream smears and grease stains. Holes and rips just give them character Cap. They're authentic - we don't have to pay big $$ for pre-ripped jeans.

"Pre-ripped jeans" ? Can someone explain that to me ? I just don't comprehend.

Ripped jeans are a big style now, especially in teens and young people.

Just Google "ripped jeans" and you will see. Hit images for lots of examples. Also "ripped jeans men" for further examples ha

It can range from a simple slit across the knee of your black skinny jeans (or regular jean colors), like some of my band friends wear hah and like you can see under "ripped jeans men" or "ripped skinny jeans" to giant holes missing all up and down the thigh to where it's barely even pants lol

And most of them still have the fabric strands running across the hole as part of the style but some are bare. But ya
