Not meanin' to rain on anybody's parade, but this is the view from my back porch:
*sigh* I think my sponge has met its match.
Bunny, oh my!! Hope no sharks in there. Are you guys high and dry ?
Looking at my radar site I think that you need way more then a big sponge or even several
Be careful Please!
Scott (who's still getting rain also, just not as much)
Oh my goodness! Is it going down, or still coming up?
That's fresh water, so no worries on sharks - just alligators. (I'm kidding; though we do have alligators in this area, there aren't any large bodies of permanent water near my house to support them. I am definitely not going to be wandering around after dark for a while, though; we also have several kinds of venomous snakes here, and when they get displaced by flooding, they could be anywhere. Gotta be able to see where you put your hands and feet!)
Whoooeeeee, that is a lot of rain! Fire ants, the stupid fire ants that don't die, ever, were the flood scourge in TX. I hope you don't have them. I sure hope that water recedes quickly.
Glad your place is ok Bunny.
Bunnylady. Have you thought of growing rice.
Hope it dries up soon for all of you on the east coast.
