Yeah, i noticed that seems to be how they shoot up. Kind of like how fast quail grow!

Ya know one at that age will brood a younger batch of poults for you very easily. The enjoy tending and teach the younger poults very well. Out of each batch I watched to see which was helping teach the others and that's the one I put with the next batch hatched. It makes it so much easier. I put a video on the old folks home page of one of mine that I kept in a playpen that raised several batches of poults for me. It was on the old server so I don't know if it got transferred over.

Thanks for asking Cap, it's still a bit sore but better. Nice looking turkey tractor, glad you're enjoying the "little" ones.

Crazy good or drive you crazy kind of crazy?

Unfortunately a little legitimately crazy. Been living on her own for a long time and she's got some interesting ideas. But nothing all that crazy usually comes out when it's a short visit, but in the past she's expressed some obsessive/paranoid type thoughts.


As for the rest of my in-laws @Alaskan you would also be correct. Not great people.
But my family is pretty awesome, so my husband gets great in-laws

Morning! Penny, how is the chick doing? You didn't sleep with it in your pocket, did you?
Anyway, floor is cut and today we stack it for drying. The fridge thing took 5 hours of my time and I have one outside my house under a tarp, but it is too big and not mine anyway. Mine is still in my friend's house, because apparently, the door jam needs to come off (we discovered previous owner's little secret...) and so she is going to perhaps buy a new, bigger door and do this correctly. Her carpenter friend will come and switch out the fridges when he is done. I did not want to unload this monster at her place and then have to deal. I have a rock wall that is just the right pick-up gate height and that is where it safely landed. DS$ was highly unamused by the whole movie! I told him that it would have been perfect Seinfeld material...

Some prescriptions can cause odd thinking. Older people react differently and often incompatible meds are prescribed--especially when you have a primary and a specialist or two involved
