Long but fun first day at work! Also lost a guinea to what I believe is a canid. All that was left was feathers.

Well, the general consensus on the duck thread is that these little fellas are fawn and white runner ducks. They were the smallest in the mixed bin at TSC and getting trampled so I had to pick them. I was kinda hoping for Peking, but they are pretty sweet, and they will have a good chance of surviving.

I am sorry you lost a Guinea!

It happens. I let mine just live on their own. I noticed one of my three was gone and I found feathers and some blood. I put the remaining two in the chicken coop since my rooster is boss around here with all my birds. I plan on getting ten more keets this May.

Do you have any males? It would be fun to hatch fun. They are cute as chicks. I have hatched them for others. I think they were pearl guineas

I have a male and a female left. I might get some eggs this year but I won’t plan on hatching. I don’t really have the time to start a hatch unfortunately.
