But theres nothing like the way they spice them in Louisiana! Go down to Breaux Bridge for the Crawfish festival; the food, the people, the music, it will all get into your head and heart like nothing else can! You just think you ate crawfish before!

Doin' good today! Weather wont make up its mind and keeps dumping rain on me when I start my outside chores, but I'll get it done.

Had the police up the mountain today with Park Wardens. Apparently 5 domestic dogs have been shot. I've been told that a number of houses used mainly at the weekend have dogs that just roam around. A few of the farms have had sheep attacked and chickens and ducks killed. They spoke to the owners and asked them to control their dogs but they didn't get listend to and one farmer got hit with a stick from one of the dog owners. At the moment it seems higher up the mountain if a dog is seen off the lead and on farm property its shoot on sight.

So at large dogs are a universal problem it seems...I had to deal with it here too. Hope your chickens and livestock will be safer for all the drama!
