Yea I'm about twenty miles southeast of where all the damage was. I'm thinking from the description of the area it may have hit a house my family lived in back in the early sixties. When everything settles down I''ll have to drive by and check.

We hit 80 the other day - thankfully I slept through most of it - or I would have put on the ceiling fan for the first time this year. 85F -90's horrible. I'd rather have the cold.I have outdoor gear for every kind of freezing and below weather. But nothing to keep me cooler in summer, and not even there yet.

The heat is very hard on chickens too!

We had a thunder storm go through today. It hit some chimneys and split some trees.

We do not get many storms like that here so there are very few lightening rods

They are forecasting 90s all week, with low probability of rain. We could really use some rain, it is quite dry.

We probably are not getting rain because our gutters are up and connected to the rain barrel for the garden!
