I feel weird and awkward jumping in after almost 50k replies, but can I come to the cafe? I used to be really active on BYP, then I took a break for a few years. Most of my old friends on here have moved on. I'm trying to find my new niche.

Back from haircuts time to clean coops for the day

Someone forgot to inform Barb that baby chicks should not be let outside until they are at least 3 weeks old!!!!

That girl had herself a great dust bath. And then a broody poop that probably made my neighbors wonder what just died.

The little one on her back got tossed when she rolled shortly after I took this picture. I hope it was the face pecker!

That is just the run extension off the back of the coop. Half for the built-in brooder, half for a dust bath. The whole coop/run combo is inside the electro-netted pen.
Apparently, you failed to read my coop article! I published it yesterday. It's a looooong article but lots of information and Fabio's backstory is embedded in there too.
