And I was actually just about to get some iced tea so it works out perfectly.

Or I may have to read it tonight when I can take the time to sit down and read it in full with no interruptions haha

It sounds like you've put a lot of effort into it!! That’s awesome! I’m definitely going to have to read it! I think I may have heard you mention something about it a couple times?

That is just the run extension off the back of the coop. Half for the built-in brooder, half for a dust bath. The whole coop/run combo is inside the electro-netted pen.

Whoops, missed this edit/update hah still a pretty nice extension! I’ve been thinking of building some sort of extension off the side of mine. Or the netting. I am going to have to read the article. Haha

Someone forgot to inform Barb that baby chicks should not be let outside until they are at least 3 weeks old!!!!

That girl had herself a great dust bath. And then a broody poop that probably made my neighbors wonder what just died.

The little one on her back got tossed when she rolled shortly after I took this picture. I hope it was the face pecker!

Ahhh the joys of broody poop. I remember our mama having her boy out after just a few days. I was amazed at how many things that little guy could do.

Silky are my brooder here there are 4 but they all will co brood silky get the tractor
at any time as it is for them

Good for Barb. It looks like they forgot to tell Barb that the natural instinct to get the chicks away from the nest as quickly as possible has been bred out of the modern chicken as well.
