About time to start dinner not allot left Hamburger always a mix lean burger/jimmy dean sausage made the potato salad this morning

Did major clean on the main coop this is once a year dig down little joe tiller about two feet down all goes out Son was at the pop door shovel into the garden cart there Son dumps it over the huge chickens yard up over long grass 15 carts later actually more like 12 then two bales of shavings later coops smells lot's better .. darn new peeps sex links and EE cockerel then a few marans one cockerel may be more wait and see where having a ball going digging eating bugs afraid of tiller no way yelling let me turn it off first

We did our major/annual scrub down of the big coop & permethrin sprayed it today too. I have to give a huge shout out to my DD Frankie who did most of the dirty work before DH made her take a break & finished it off for her. That kid amazes me everyday!

We also got the little coop converted into a grow out pen & got the juvies in it. I love seeing birds touch dirt & sand for the first time. They're loving it now, but the poor babies will be screaming their little heads off at bedtime.

Hey fowl guy glad you could step in.. did get the coop cleaned did actually take photos with fresh shavings down birds are having a great time with it

I put three pens of young polish in one big run today, first time on dirt! They had a blast!

Love the two with dirt floors I have and if I replace the dome I have whatever it is has to be dirt floor the silky coop has a floor it works cats cannot get them they have the tractor we keep moving it around the yard they run up to me inside to carry them out they love their tractor
