That can make one wonder can't it .. Morning all early up but slept great and work out yesterday cleaning main coop the one day we had a mist few clouds so was cool it worked not so awful in the coop but slept good here also

Morning! Beautiful day here as well. You All are getting stuff done, oh my, that is a lot of work.
The birds are looking very happy.
Firewood, firewood and more firewood. That will be the sum total of my day.
I have a funny for you: Your interpretation of the following DH phrase-

I don't know how you lot do that bare foot stuff. I would be hopping and whimpering like I was walking on hot coals; not to mention not having any toes left.

I'm barefoot all the time, but even I have limits this time of year...you just have to get used to it.

DH's daughter, SIL and one grandson just left after a nice visit. They brought with them their new rescue dog, Sophie.
Miss Sophie has herself some resource guarding issues.
She kept growling at Skittles when he came over to hang out with us. She ultimately bit him in the muzzle and put two little punctures in him. I disinfected them and he's fine. Daughter and SIL are mortified with Sophie's behavior.
I gave them a bunch of training tips as well as a spare remote controlled E-collar with vibration warning and a dial for the electronic stimulus and showed them how to use the collar.
Sophie has the chance to be a great dog with some good training. I wish I could have kept her for the next week and worked with her. Oh well.

I can remember in the 50's and 60's when they were called thongs. I really don't recall when the name was switched over to another form of wearing apparel. I don't think they asked my opinion.
